Independent Veterinary Practice seeks the elusive, endangered species known as the RVN.
If you are one and you have come out of hiding ready to embark on your next adventure then please get in touch with us.
Anne Nelson Vets is based in South Croydon and we can’t promise you sunshine, endless golden beaches and clifftop walks but did you know Croydon was the birthplace of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes) and they filmed The Da Vinci Code here…..plus we have everyone’s favourite weekend/bank holiday hangout Ikea.
One of our nurses is heading back home to South Africa after working with us for 20 years…….20 years! you do less time for murder. After having wiped away my many tears I am now searching for a replacement nurse/inmate to join our team of 5 RVN’s and 1 SVN.
The position is a full time role but as we are flexible when it comes to recruiting do not be put off applying if it is a part time role you are after. We would also happily consider SVN’s who are in their 2nd year.
About Us
We are very proudly independent! We have been established in the local area for many years and have a good reputation. We have a total of 5 vets working at the practice. One is an exotic specialist so we get to see a variety of animal’s not just cats and dogs. Anne Nelson has a certificate in orthopaedics and another of our vets has a certificate in small animal medicine. Though we are a GP practice you will get a chance to be involved in more complex and interesting cases.
Our team of nurses consist of 5 RVN’s and 1 SVN. Our RVN’s have a wealth of experience between them as many of them have been qualified for many years now.
We take pride in our customer care and have an excellent team of receptionists. Take a look at our reviews they often get glowing comments.
We manage our diary well with some appointments on the day only so we do our best not to get over booked.
We are very welcoming to new members of staff making sure they feel included from day one. We as a team do enjoy some banter and a laugh during the day….because working in veterinary practice you need it sometimes!
Our clients are mostly well behaved but with those that are not we are not scared of sending them a goodbye letter.
