Another vet said my rescue cat had diseased teeth and they all needed to be extracted and that ‘cats learn to cope very well without teeth’. This news was alarming to me but was advised this was the only course of action or my cat would die with blood poisoning. Whilst looking for a second opinion I contacted Anne Nelson vets, on recommendation, who instead extracted just 5 teeth and cleaned the others. The result being that Benny had a wonderful clean bill of health and all of his other teeth still look great a year on. Despite the hour drive from my home I will now only take my cat to Anne Nelson. The whole team are exceptionally friendly and helpful with a level of expertise you can completely trust. Your pet could not be given better care. Plus when Benny had anaesthetic for his teeth extraction they gave him a little tiger bandage where he had his injection. Completely unnecessary of course but such a cute thing to do.
